Approach

I am passionate about supporting all my clients to explore different aspects of themselves, discovering choice and feeling more fulfilled.

Being an integrative therapist means I am not limited to one way of working. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches depending on what my clients’ needs, staying informed by current research in neurobiology and attachment, as well as developments in trauma-informed practice.

The core of my approach is psychodynamic thinking, influenced by CBT and solution focussed therapy. The relationships and experiences we had growing up often shape how we see ourselves, how we relate to others and what we believe is possible for us as adults. Understanding these patterns can be hugely helpful, but it does not mean being defined or limited by them. Together we explore how your past shows up in your present, while also focusing on the choices available to you now, supporting the changes you want to make in your life as you move forward.

I also work with an understanding that behaviours often serve a purpose we do not immediately recognise. What looks like anxiety, addiction or self-destructive patterns may actually be ways of coping, managing trauma, regulating an overwhelmed nervous system or navigating neurodivergence. Rather than labelling these responses as problems, we explore what they are trying to tell us about what you genuinely need and find a more sustainable way forward.
