About
I am a London-based integrative psychotherapist and qualified grief and loss counsellor, holding a Master's degree in Psychotherapy & Counselling. Originally from Sweden, I have also lived in America and Germany before settling in London over 25 years ago - experiences that have shaped my understanding of what it means to adjust to major changes and rebuild in new contexts.
I am passionate about supporting young as well as older adults through challenging personal and professional experiences — whether you are navigating bereavement, relationship difficulties, career pressures, caring responsibilities, the empty-nest stage, or other significant losses such as health or financial security. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, discontent, or unsure how to move forward. Some seek support during times of struggle; others come looking for space for reflection, growth and greater clarity about what matters to them.
As a former lawyer and mother of three teenagers, I also bring lived experience of busy, complex lives alongside my professions training. I genuinely understand the pressures of managing change, stress and family responsibilities.
At the heart of my work is helping you explore what you truly want and need. My approach is warm, collaborative and tailored to you. Supportive yet gently challenging, I work with you to create the conditions for lasting change.

Approach
I hold a Master's degree in Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling and work with adults of all ages. My integrative approach allows me to work flexibly, drawing on different therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment-focused therapy, person-centred therapy, existential psychotherapy, and CBT. I also draw on insights from neurobiology, attachment research and trauma studies to inform our work.
While I draw particularly on psychodynamic thinking, I believe in using the theories and approaches that are most likely to help you. I'm convinced of the importance of understanding how the past influences the present - our early experiences, relationships and patterns often shape how we see ourselves and relate to others. However, understanding the past doesn't mean being defined by it. Together, we can explore how your history has shaped you while working toward the changes you want to make in your life now and in the future.
This means tailoring my approach to what feels most useful and helpful to you as an individual.
